Fitraat Focus for freelancers
Name the client, or the loudest one wins.

Client work and your own work fight for the same afternoon. A session is a named block so the louder message does not spend the hour.

Why the afternoon disappears

Freelance days fragment: a ping, a revision, a new brief, then your own project never starts. Fitraat Focus makes you say which work this hour is. Deep work is an appointment. Without one, the loudest client is the schedule.

Why this, for client work

One client per intention

Write the deliverable, not ‘client work.’ The timer is for that file.

Your own work gets a block too

If it is not on the list, it will not survive the afternoon. Put it on today like a client.

Interruptions stay visible

Reflect names what pulled you out. Next time that goes in Block Space, before the session, not as a regret after.

The phone stays covered

On Android, choose the apps that stay closed. When one opens, Fitraat Focus covers it. While the focus timer runs, you can add blocks, and you cannot remove them until the timer ends.

A task marked done
Check the deliverable off when it is done — in the session or back in Todo.

How a client session runs

Billable or not, the loop is the same.

  1. 01

    List the real work

Todo for the day: the revision, the draft, the invoice, and one task that is yours.

  2. 02

    Pick the first

High priority. One intention. The others wait outside the timer.

  3. 03

    Prepare

Time, space, the brief, the files. Energy checked so you do not ‘just answer one thing’ first.

  4. 04

    Work the block

Begin Deep Work. Break guard on the break. Mark the task done when it is done.

  5. 05

    Close, then switch clients

End the session before you open the next brief. A new client is a new intention, not a tab.
