Fitraat Focus for designers
Craft does not share a timer with critique.
Pixels and feedback are different jobs. A session holds one of them so the file actually changes.
Why the file does not move
Design work dies in switching: the canvas, the comment thread, the reference tab, the chat. Flow needs a clear target and quick feedback from the work itself. Fitraat Focus gives the craft a block, and the comments a different block.
Why this, for the craft
Name the mode
Explore, refine, or respond. One intention. The other two wait.
References before the timer
Resources means the board, the type, the shots you already chose. Hunting for inspiration mid-session is a new project.
End so you can see it
Close, then look at what changed. Reflect is the critique you give yourself before anyone else does.
The phone stays covered
On Android, choose the apps that stay closed. When one opens, Fitraat Focus covers it. While the focus timer runs, you can add blocks, and you cannot remove them until the timer ends.

How a design session runs
One file. One job.
01
Put the project in sections
Research, directions, refinement, handoff. Tasks you can finish, not slogans.
02
Choose today’s job
Add it to Todo. If it is critique, the intention is the comments. If it is craft, the comments stay closed.
03
Set the space
Full screen. Notifications off. The five pillars, then Begin Deep Work.
04
Stay with the frame
Work and break. On the break, leave the tool. Do not ‘just check’ the thread.
05
Close the file
A short ending. Score the sitting. The next session starts from the file you actually left.
