Flow: why a clear session feels better
Csikszentmihalyi described flow as work that holds your attention without you forcing it. You know what you are doing, you can tell if it is going well, and it is hard enough to stay interesting.
In Fitraat Focus
- Write one intention before you start — so the session has a single target.
- Use the timer so feedback is the cycle itself, not a vague ‘I worked a lot’.
- Score the session. That score is the feedback loop for next time.
Keep this
- Clear goal + matching difficulty beats waiting to ‘feel focused’.
- A short, honest score is more useful than a long journal you will skip.
